In 1957, our hospital had started to render service to our patients at Kavaklı District, Sağlık
Street No:3. Diagnostic and treatment services for both outpatients & inpatients were given until 31
December 2016.
On the first day of 2007, our hospital moved to a new adress, which is also located at Kavaklı
District but in Hacı Ahmet Kırı Site, and continued to serve as a 100 beds hospital. In 2009, old SSK
hospital, a.k.a. 82 Yıl Devlet Hastanesi B Block, connected to our hospital. The construction of a
brand new building which started in 2011 finished in August 2014 and our hospital finally has started
to serve in its final destination.
Connected to our main building with a bridge, our 8-story hospital now serves as a modern
healthcare facility which has 210 beds in 124 rooms- 92 of which is classified as qualified rooms-and
47 physician examination rooms within a covered area of 30 755 m2
. All of the rooms, equipped with
latest technology, are designed according to the standarts of Ministry of Health.
Our hospital has a 14-bed ( 65% of which is secondary) General Intensive Care Unit (ICU);
6-bed Pediatric ICU and a 15-bed palliative care unit.
In our additional unit in Tunçbilek, emergency services are also available. Besides including
public mental health center, healthcare services are given in 4 different centers. Soon, a 75-bed
hospital for physiotheraphy/rehabilitation will be planned to be in place of the old SSK hospital.
Around 200 000 patients from our town, surrounding towns & villages are getting public
health services in our hospital.
